Hanne Schou-Rode is the Owner and Managing Director of Impact Consult ApS - a Danish based management consultancy within business strategy and organizational design. Impact Consult delivers consultancy and other services within Knowledge Leadership & Management, business development, change management, organizational development and business-focused ‘bridge building’ (i.e., translation and coordinator between various fields of expertise and the business).

Hanne Schou-Rode has 25+ years of experience from international business of which approx. 15 years in leadership positions. Her latest assignment was as Vice President for Business Strategy & Governance and Knowledge Management within Novo Nordisk A/S, a healthcare company and a world leader in diabetes care.
At Novo Nordisk she has created and headed several strategic functions within Knowledge Management, Business Strategy & Management, Human Resources and IT. During a number of years she has been responsible for and driver of the Knowledge Leadership strategy and initiatives. This position among others included the responsibility of the global intranet; i.e., the strategy, development and roll-out of a modern global intranet, ‘GlobeShare’, based on MS SharePoint 2007. Further, Mrs. Schou-Rode has during several years served as the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Corporate Responsibility within Novo Nordisk.
H. Schou-Rode has an educational background within the field of humanities (MA in literature) obtained by studies in Denmark, Sweden and USA. During her career she has supplemented her theoretical background with additional professional education within relevant areas of expertise, such as business strategy development and implementation at Harvard Business School and Management Centre Europe. Further, she has a career within various professional areas, performed internationally, such as Knowledge Leadership, Human Resources, IT, business administration, business strategy & accounting, performance mgmt., change management and optimization of business processes.
Mrs. Schou-Rode can be characterized as a 'bridge-builder' - believing in and supporting mutual understanding and collaboration among people, e.g. by calling for a free flow of knowledge amongst peers. Further, she is a very accountable and empathetic person. Professionally as well as privately she encourages and supports people to be responsible and take ownership and seek challenge and develop to the extent possible to the benefit of all parties.
Externally, Mrs. Schou-Rode is a member of the Knowledge Leadership Forum, Entovation 100 and appointed as the Entovation Research Fellow of Knowledge Products/Services. She is also a member of the European Conference Board and the Business Performance Roundtable at the Cranfield University, UK.
Additionally, H. Schou-Rode is a frequent speaker at international conferences, events and business schools on subjects related to knowledge strategy & capital, stakeholder innovation, global intranet, business strategy, performance management and governance systems.
