[E100 Alert] - Inaugural Book-of-the-Month: 13 July 2004

Dear E100:

The leaders are learners...and the learners are leaders.

It is a privilege to announce 'The Innovation SuperHighway' has been selected for an inaugural program event for the Book-of-the-Month by KnowledgeBoard, the European KM community. Thanks to the efforts of a new E100 Sami Kazi (Finland) and Ron Dvir (Israel), we have planned a seminar in July; and I hope to see as many E100 there as possible!

Date: July 13th, 2004
Time: 14:00 BST, 15:00 CET, 09:00 USA East Time.
Location: KnowledgeBoard

[Note: Seats in the conference are limited to 100, so I recommend signing in advance. Also, the event is only scheduled for an hour which passes quickly, so offer your insights early in the game!]

Many of you may not have had a chance to scan the book and its contents - which, by the way, provides the story of the E100 Network evolution and synthesized trends - according to YOUR words! For others, it could be a chance to revisit the stories and reflect on how your own work fits into this new innovation frontier. Once you visit the KnowledgeBoard site, you will find several items:

Book Segmentation:

Part III The Globe as a Network
Part IV Innovation Leadership in Practice

MOST important: to prepare for this major event, a Study Guide was developed, so the book could be read in groups and management teams. The questions are outlined below, but detailed instructions may be found. And so, if you have NOT seen the book, I urge you to secure a copy and explore for YOUR perspective some of the questions! Read it - in advance - with your colleagues. Come to the dialogue table on the 13th with YOUR own insights and learnings - even since the book has been published. We are all writing epilogues daily...and many of them can be captured on this electronic forum. Come meet your E100 colleagues and discover new practitioners sharing similar aspirations!

Let us illustrate the validity of the book subtitle - Harnessing Intellectual Capital for Collaborative Advantage!

Innovating our future...together.

Debra

P.S. And if you plan to join us, let me know so I may be able to provide proper welcome!

It is human - a function of insight, interaction and imagination resident in the minds, hearts and hands of people around the globe." - Cover description
