The 5th International E100 Roundtable

Muscat, Oman

30th-3rd April 2006

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

- Margaret Mead

Held in collaboration with the
Arabian Knowledge Economy Association (AKEA)

[E100 Alert] - En Route to Oman #3 - Joint E100/AKEA Roundtable - AGENDA

Dear E100:

Time is drawing near for an extraordinary opportunity to participate in a happening – MUCH more than a conference. The World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WSIE) – www.wsie.org – provides an unique opportunity to interface – on an invitation basis – with leaders across the world. Further, with the participation of the Arabian Knowledge Economy Association (AKEA) and the Gulf Venture capital Association (GVCA), this Summit will afford an unprecedented window into the Middle East.

Of all previous E100 Roundtables, this seems to afford an unparalleled chance to interface with leaders who ARE innovating our future. You can see from the DRAFT agenda (below), this is a 24-hour event that cannot be equaled in potential insights and influence.

You can see that we will have a window of innovation from several nations and will receive a proposal to create the Junior E100 (J100) – [Note this is Junior to the power of 100!] There are plans for us to learn about the incredible results for the Ken Certification program across the Ministries of Egypt and the potential now for follow-on courses that are listed on our ENTOVATION Gyroscope. We will provide the 2006 Ken Practitioner Award and release the KIZ Declaration. Further, we will release the Executive Summary of the Knowledge Innovation Zone (KIZ) State-of-the-World Report in a Press conference and Town Meeting with CNBC. And MORE surprises…

We do not want to do this without YOU!

Check the agenda (below) and PLEASE, contact me for YOUR discount code to register.

A Better Knowledge Innovation® Generation

In 1987, the first National Roundtable on ‘Managing Knowledge Assets into the 21st Century’ was held and the concepts of intellectual capital premiered. 19 years later, progress has been made. Leaders are emerging. A select group of knowledge professionals (i.e., the E100) is represented on the Global Knowledge Leadership Map - http://www.entovation.com/kleadmap/index.htm. These 100+ thought leaders and innovators represent 60 nations, and most business functions, industries and sectors. Their collective wisdom and leadership rivals the most prominent consulting practices. A new economic world order is emerging – one based upon the flow of knowledge, innovation, stakeholder success and international collaboration; and these are key players in that evolution.

In June 2002, the 1st International E100 Roundtable convened in New York City with the theme, ‘Harnessing Collaborative Advantage’, to discuss how to evolve the intellectual capabilities of the E100 in mutually beneficial directions.  The journey continued with a 2nd Roundtable in Helsinki, Finland. The following year, the group met 3rd time in Monterrey, Mexico, in conjunction with the Ibero-American Community of Knowledge Systems, bringing together countries throughout Latin America. The most recent 4th E100 Roundtable was convened in Barcelona, Spain, continuing the theme of ‘Knowledge Cities, Knowledge Regions and a Knowledge World.’ All this has influenced the foundation for our seminal work: Knowledge Innovation Zones (KIZ).

The 5th International meeting is scheduled for the 30-31st of March as a Joint E100/AKEA Roundtable. It is in conjunction with the Arabian Knowledge Economy Association and the 1-3 April the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WSIE) in Muscat, Oman. We will use this opportunity to gain a window into the innovation priorities of our constituent nations and explore possibilities to innovate our future…together.

Our purpose is to provide a unique experience bringing some of the best talent in the world to the doorstep of the Middle East and - in so doing – open a window to potential activity that otherwise might not be easily accessible to those from other nations. We are limited only by our imagination and ability to command resources – in collaboration and for mutual benefit.  We look forward to our constructive dialogue about what’s possible.
